Legal Accounts Ltd is a legal bookkeeping service based near Solihull in the West Midlands. Established in 2011 by Ed Jameson when he recognised an opportunity to provide a quality legal financial service which would allow solicitors practices to save money in the challenging economic times.
At Legal Accounts we know how important it is to keep up to date with Solicitors Accounts Rules and any changes or proposed alterations to the SAR’s. All of our cashiers are kept up to date through training manuals, courses and websites. This constant training, coupled with the teams extensive and varied experience ensures that when you choose Legal Accounts, you will receive the highest possible standard of bookkeeping.
Ed has over 20 years experience in busy accounts offices. He worked as a cashier at Lee Crowder Solicitors for 6 years and spent a further 6 years at Davisons Solicitors and has also been Finance Team Leader at Blakemores Solicitors. This extensive experience in the legal sector covers a range of different areas of law which includes high level reporting.
He is an avid cricket fan, follows Warwickshire Bears, watches most sports and has two young daughters that keep him busy.
Jo is a legal cashier with 23 years experience behind her. She originally worked at Martineau Johnson for 8 years then moved to Lee Crowder/Cobbetts/DWF for a further 13 years before joining Legal Accounts in 2014.
She enjoys running and socialising with friends, when she isn't too busy helping out at her youngest sons’ school as part of the Primary School Parents Association.
Lisa is a legal cashier with 28 years experience working at Edge & Ellison (merger with Hammonds) for 20 years, Williamson & Soden for 5 years and followed by Allsopp & Co for 2 years before joining Legal Accounts in 2015.
She is an expert in pilates, walking, watching her son play football, watching her daughter dance, visiting the cinema and socialising with friends.
Tony is a legal cashier with 31 years experience working in finance within Law Firms starting off in London at Lovell White & King. He has worked on numerous system mergers some that have meant working abroad giving him a vast knowledge in multiple areas. He has also previously worked in conjunction with the Law Society on various interventions and has a sound knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
In between entertaining the children Tony has been known to play golf and enjoy the odd drink or two.
Kelly worked at James Pearce Solicitors for 6 years gaining experience in Family Law and Legal Cashiering. She then went on to work for an Accident Management Company following Maternity Leave in 2014 for a further 2 years before joining Legal Accounts.
Kelly enjoys spending time with her two young children, listening to music and socialising with friends and family.
Camilla first became a Legal Cashier at Emms Gilmore Liberson when the firm grew to a size that it needed an on-site cashier. Over the period of four years the expansion included adding Property, Conveyancing and Trust and Probate departments, broadening Camilla's experience. Camilla joined Legal Accounts to continue expanding her knowledge within the profession.
Camilla enjoys submersive embroidery and is also a keen debater with the Birmingham Debates Society.
