Legal Accounts Ltd is a legal bookkeeping service based near Solihull in the West Midlands. Established in 2011 by Ed Jameson when he recognised an opportunity to provide a quality legal financial service which would allow solicitors practices to save money in the challenging economic times.
At Legal Accounts we know how important it is to keep up to date with Solicitors Accounts Rules and any changes or proposed alterations to the SAR’s. All of our cashiers are kept up to date through training manuals, courses and websites. This constant training, coupled with the teams extensive and varied experience ensures that when you choose Legal Accounts, you will receive the highest possible standard of bookkeeping.
Ed has over 20 years experience in busy accounts offices. He worked as a cashier at Lee Crowder Solicitors for 6 years and spent a further 6 years at Davisons Solicitors and has also been Finance Team Leader at Blakemores Solicitors. This extensive experience in the legal sector covers a range of different areas of law which includes high level reporting.
He is an avid cricket fan, follows Warwickshire Bears, he has a season ticket at Solihull Moors FC and enjoys watching most sports and has two young daughters and two dogs that keep him busy.
Lisa is a legal cashier with over 30 years experience working at Edge & Ellison (merger with Hammonds) for 20 years, Williamson & Soden for 5 years and followed by Allsopp & Co for 2 years before joining Legal Accounts in 2015.
She enjoys dynamic pilates, walking her dog, watching football, and spending time with her family and friends.
Kelly worked at James Pearce Solicitors for 6 years gaining experience in Family Law and Legal Cashiering. She then went on to work for an Accident Management Company following Maternity Leave in 2014 for a further 2 years before joining Legal Accounts in 2016.
Kelly enjoys spending time with her two young children, listening to music and socialising with friends and family.
Helen has worked in legal accounting for the past 12 years starting at Williamson and Soden Solicitors. She then moved to Allsopp and Co where Helen worked until April 2018 before she began working at Legal Accounts.
She is a Diploma member of the ILFM (Institute of Legal Finance and Management) passing the exam with a distinction.
In her free time Helen enjoys going to a dance fitness class and Blissfit. She also enjoys going to see both classic and current films at The Electric Cinema in Birmingham.
Maisie joined Legal Accounts in October 2018. She was previously working in office accounts mainly in the tax sector doing self-assessments for small businesses. She is currently working towards her AAT Level 3 as well as continually gaining knowledge as a Legal Cashier.
Maisie enjoys doing aerial fitness, taking her dog Dodge to the park and designing tattoos in her free time.
Gurjit joined Legal Accounts in January 2019. He is a graduate in Accounting and Finance from the University of Birmingham. As well as having an AAT Level 2 Qualification he is currently devloping experience in all the Firm's practice areas.
In his spare time, Gurjit likes to play cricket in the summer months and throughout the year enjoys a football kickabout. He is also a proud Manchester United fan and enjoys watching a variety of sports, including football, cricket and mixed martial arts.
